Delhi University has around 70 colleges under it. But there are only a few fests that students eagerly wait for. This time too, the students of DU had high expectations but

only a few fests could make it to that level successfully. So, here is a list of all such fests by Campus Drift:

  1. CROSSROADS’16.

Top on the list had to be Crossroads of Sri Ram College of Commerce. The main highlight of the fest was Farhan Akhtar. Shankar Ehsaan Loy performed and added to the awesomeness of the fest. The decorations done with umbrellas were commendable and the yummy food proved to be an icing on the cake. The college definitely knows how to make us happy!

  1. TEMPEST’16

Miranda House scored the second position in our list and attracted a large crowd. Neeti Mohan and Shakti Mohan created magic with their energetic performances. The other activities added immensely to the charms which included – inter-college competitions (dance, music, dramatics), literary events, games, mouth-watering cuisines, stalls of clothes, tarot reading, henna, trinkets and more.

  1. CONFLUNECE’16

Hansraj college’s fest didn’t in any way disappoint us and made it to the third position. The crowd went crazy with Bohemia performing and the whole affair was an extravaganza of fun, food and activities.

  1. Mecca’16 and Reverie’16

Gargi College’s “Reverie’16” and Hindu’s “Mecca’16” were on the same dates i.e 24-26th March. As a result, there was a division in the crowd. But nevertheless, both the colleges did put up a great show. With Salim Sulaiman in Hindu and MJ5 in Gargi, the fest fever was at its best indeed!

  1. NEXUS’16.

Venky’s Nexus was in headlines due to their star performer i.e Sunnidhi Chauhan cancelling the show due to rain. But it was held again shortly and students enjoyed a lot during Sunnidhi’s show. The way she made people groove on her hit songs like “ainvayi ainvayi”, made it one great event and the spirit with which the college reorganized everything was impressive.

These were the top five fests which amazed us. If you agree with these, show us some love by sharing it and if you think that we missed something, do tell us in the comments section below!
