Well, feel familiar? Do not worry each year a lot of Students are in the same condition once their board exams are over, and the results are out. I have tried my best to help you guys for all the courses in DU based on entrance exams.

Hello everyone, does it not feel like this is the only time of your life when you are not concerned with what you look like? What is your Facebook profile picture? What would be your next cutting edge style still for Instagram? No?

Oh! Common, you are lying. These jitters are experienced by everyone when they pass the boards exams after all the emotional getaways, mental pressure (in other words parental pressure!) and those last ten years papers and finally reach one step closer to DU cut-off lists.

But yes trust me, two things which are definitely in your mind are “current location” and “studying at” tags on the Facebook and all you wish to do is change them to Delhi and DU.

Hello?? Yes, for all the new guys and girls in DU.

We have talked a lot about what our DU is for the current DU students in preceding months; this article is specifically for all our new-by WOULD BE juniors who are cherishing the thoughts of being in DU in their nights and wishes. Trust only information posted on the Website of Delhi University or from pages which have references to the Official Website, such as the forthcoming information is from the official bulletin of information for session 2016-2017 of Delhi University.

Some important points regarding JAC

  • The weight age of the Entrance examination and Interview, Group Discussion (GD) is as follows: – a. 85% for the Entrance test b. 15% for the GD and Interview. This will apply to all the courses i.e. 1. Bachelor of Management Studies 2. Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) 3. B.A.(Hons) Business Economics
  • The General Category candidate should have an aggregate of at least 60% (class XII) in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi. 26
  • It is essential to produce the confirmed result and mark sheet of the qualifying examination on the day of the Group Discussion and Personal Interview to be eligible for admission in BMS/BBA (FIA)/ B.A (Hons) Business Economics programs.
  • The category certificate (OBC-non-creamy layer/SC/ST/PwD/CW), in the name of the candidate, must be produced on the day of the interview and group discussion.
  • Sorry to all the students who have compartment this year and will not be considered for admission this year.
  • The candidates who have appeared for improvement in the class XII examination of 2016 shall not be considered for admission in the current year.

Name of the Institution: Cluster Innovation Centre

Course: B. Tech. Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations (IT&M)

 

  1. The written entrance test of two hours duration will be based on mathematics, reasoning and analytical abilities at 10+2 levels.
  2. The marking pattern will be as specified by the University. In case, each course have to decide individually, there will be 100 questions and for each correct answer a student shall score + 4 marks and for each negative response there will be -1 mark.
  3. Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared by the marks secured in the entrance test.
  4. In case there is a tie in the merit list for the final seat, the criteria specified by the university rules shall be adopted to break the tie.

Course: B.A. (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences

  1. A written MCQ based entrance test will be conducted at centres identified by the university.
  2. The written entrance test of two hours duration will be Multiple Choice Questions on General Awareness, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Communication Skills (English/Hindi), Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability.
  3. The marking pattern will be as specified by the University. In case, each course have to decide individually, there will be 100 questions and for each correct answer a student shall score + 4 marks and for each negative 29 response there will be -1 mark.
  4. Admission will be made according to the merit list prepared by the marks secured in the entrance test.
  5. In case there is a tie in the merit list for the final seat, the criteria specified by the university rules shall be adopted to break the tie.

Course: Bachelors of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed.)

Course: B.A (H) Multi Media and Mass Communication (MMMC) – ONLY FOR WOMEN CANDIDATES.

  1. Gen Category- 75% aggregate of best four including 85% in English
  2. Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared by the marks secured in the entrance test.
  3. In case there is a tie in the merit list for the final seat, the criteria specified by the university rules shall be adopted to break the tie

Nothing is bigger than your life, so cherish it and do not think of committing any foul deed and wasting away your life, just because you could not qualify the criteria for a university or an examination. All this is part and parcel of life, and anyhow college is a just a podium through which you can kick start your career. So, what is wrong if you get a lower podium? Can you not try and jump harder? J

Think about it twice then do something silly with your precious life.
