Yellow, green, blue, red.. Who doesn’t love these colors? All the more when it’s the festival of colors, Holi. With all the fun and joy, comes the task of taking care of your skin. Although it is important to take care of your skin while playing holi, it is equally important to pay attention to your skin after all the enjoyment is over. Some colors contain chemicals which can be harmful for your skin. While it is better to play with the natural color, the stains they leave are pretty hard to remove. We bring you some really easy homemade treatments for your skin post the holi party-
- Coconut oil treatment:
Take some coconut oil in cotton pads and apply that on your face and body. Wash your face after some time. This is the most effective way to remove those stubborn stains.
- Besan and curd pack:
Mix some besan and curd in a bowl and apply it on your skin. Leave it onfor 15-20 minutes and wash it off. Your skin will be glowing just like before.
- Deep cleansing:
To clear the colors which are present deep inside your pores, take steam for about 15-20 minutes. Apply some lemon juice on your face after that with a cotton pad. It will help clear out your skin from within.
- Tomato as a natural decolorizing agent:
Take some tomatoes and mash them. Apply them on your face and skin. The juice from the tomato acts as a decolorizing agent and clears the skin faster.
- Aloe vera treatment:
Apply some aloe vera coat on your face at night as it is known for its soothing properties. You will wake up with soft and refreshed skin.
So, while you enjoy this beautiful festival of colors, don’t forget to take good care of your skin. Have a safe and a happy holi! 😀
