The most awaited entrance exam result is out. The soared hopes finally came to rest as the Central Board of Secondary Education announced the result of Joint Entrance Examination at the evening of 27 April 2016. The online JEE paper I and paper II were held on April the third whereas the offline paper I and II took place on ninth and tenth of April. About twelve lakh students applied for the exam this year out of which only two lakh are selected for the next level that is JEE Advanced. The registration of the selected students would commence from April 29, 2016 and conclude on May 4, 2016. Joint Entrance Examination is one of the most prestigious entrance exams at the undergrad level in India. It is according to the score and rank in this exam that the students get admitted into Indian Institute of Technology, National Institute of Technology and Delhi Technological University which are the most esteemed institutions in India.
Sankalp Gaur managed to top the entrance with a ravishing score of 345 while the second and third positioned candidates were not far behind. Here is the list of all the five toppers:
