Being a DUite you know that the prior few months have kept you super busy with build up for fests, competitions, college trips and many other things. Oh! Did i miss studies?
Alright, alright let us include studies also and next month would pass under intense pressure of scoring more than our best friends! So the question which will boggle our mind is that how can we make this mid-semester break a perfect break for breaking that day to day routine of college and parties to something productive and as well as relaxing,
Let us help you in enjoying these short but nonetheless refreshing holidays! Read on to know more:
- PACK UP AND LEAVE FOR HOME
It has been a long time since most of the non-Delhiite students got a break to go back home. So this is the time when one needs to pack their stuff and leave for home and enjoy the motherly love, less drinks and more fruits for few days and rejuvenate oneself and yes NO LATE NIGHT CALLS OR VIDEO CALLS! (Sorry though.)
- SPEND MORE TIME WITH FAMILY
Well, this option is really vital for all those students who have lost confidence of their parents by coming late from college, more stays at friend’s flat, parties, constant nagging for the increase in pocket money and late night home comings. Now, one will think that how is this related with spending more time with family? Well, it is going to help you in making them believe that you still have got time for them and ALWAYS remember nothing is greater than PAMPERING OF A more pocket money for a few weeks? Does not sound bad I guess! (On a funny note) and anyways, it will make you feel happier by keeping aside your menial college, friends and money problems.
- WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU SITTING AT HOME? IT’S TIME FOR DAWN OF JUSTICE!
All the marvel and comic book fans are going to get mad this mid-semester break because of the timing of Batman VS. Superman: Dawn of Justice. It will hit the theatres on the 24th March. It is definitely going to have some intense action as the Dark Knight takes on the Man of Steel. I am tempted to say, “Do you bleed? You will!” Well, let us not talk more about it or else we would need to change the title of this article!
- SPLASH COLORS AND CHEER FOR INDIA
Holi h‼ Well it is the season off colours, put on lots of oil on your hair, wears those old t-shirts and shorts, get out with your squad and let the colours do the talking. But amidst this, the more sophisticated and sober ones can stay at home and still enjoy. Any guesses how?? It’s the T20 World Cup. India has its final super 10 match on 27th March against Australia after its exciting 1 run win against Bangladesh (Dhoni though!). Cheer for India and let us all hope that the cup comes back to us. Anyways we are in a difficult group and even tighter scenario right now! Hope we win against Australia. Cheers!
Almost forgot to say – HAPPY HOLIDAYS AMIGOS!
